Irish Distilleries and Museums
This section covers the distilleries and whiskey museums in Ireland which are open to the public.
The Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin, the Jameson Experience in Midleton and the Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre are former working distilleries, now open to the public as excellent visitor centres. The Locke's Distillery in Kilbeggan ceased distilling in 1953, but is now once again distilling and maturing on site. The Cooley Distillery is the only fully operational distillery one can visit in the Republic of Ireland, but please note that visits are only possible for pre-booked groups on certain days of the week.
Please refer to each distillery's web page for full information on the tours they offer.
Please always consume alcohol in moderation and remember that it is a serious offence in Ireland to drink and drive.
